It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like… Thanksgiving!

Posted by Liz Peterson on November 23, 2008

I hope you all enjoyed the comics Kyle made (I helped a little)!  Be on the lookout for some more soon.

Can you believe it is already Thanksgiving this Thursday?  Kyle and I will be spending time with our families this Thanksgiving (as usual) and putting up our Christmas tree this weekend.  I am excited!  I have been getting more and more excited for the holidays as they approach.  I have already been listening to some Christmas music and I keep trying to wrap Christmas presents, but Kyle won’t let me!  Christmas is just over a month away- I have to get on the ball!

Speaking of Christmas, I could use your help.  Kyle and I are trying to think of a good Christmas movie to watch.  We want to start a tradition where we watch the same movie together every Christmas Eve.  The movie has to also be good for kids because once we have children we want them to be part of the tradition, of course.  Do you have any suggestions (besides “A Christmas Story”!)?!

Also, what are you and your family doing for Thanksgiving?

This happened last Sunday on the way to church.  It was followed by an extended period of laughing.

Life with the Petersons – Eat All Your Points

Posted by Kyle Peterson on November 9, 2008

Liz and I thought it would be fun if we tried to make comics about some of the funny thoughts, situations, and sayings we’ve had.  Hopefully this is the first of many.

Liz is on Weight Watchers now and if you don’t eat all of your points for the week it can negatively affect your weight loss.

Word of the Day Haiku – 11/6/2008

Posted by Kyle Peterson on November 6, 2008

Word of the Day: mot juste

I have two for today, one following a more traditional Haiku style and the second more sentence like.

The perfect moment
Expressed by the slightest touch
Can’t find the mot juste

When in the moment,
say no words at all, do not
search for the mot juste
